Welcome to Good Things in Life

The project where a team of cancer survivors swapped their clothes

for bodypaints to create a stunning 2009 calendar!

Everybody seems to know somebody who has had the unwelcome visitor called ‘cancer’ in their lives: a friend, a neighbour, a relative. It is a disease that ever-increasing numbers of people have to face, A frightening one in three people will get the disease in his or her lifetime. Fortunately, thanks to ever-increasing knowledge about the condition, much can be done these days for people who have to face this uninvited guest.

In order to gain the upper hand, however, much more research is required. Cancer Research UK is one charity that works tirelessly on finding causes and cures of cancer, and much of their research is financed through voluntary contributions, through normal people like me, who have had cancer and who want to put something back into the care that they have received in the hope that better, less invasive and more effective treatment will be developed in the very near future.

I owe a great debt of gratitude to all those who have so generously given their time and effort for this project. Without them it would not have worked.

I am also grateful to you for taking an interest, I hope you will love the calendar, and will buy plenty of them so that together we can raise a massive amount. All monies raised will go to Cancer Research UK.
